i just bought a vespa scooter and need help?
ok well i took the scooter to a machanic to see why it wouldnt start and he said it was a compresion issue in the kick start and and i am trying to find a quick and spacific answer on how to fix this problem i do not know to much about them like i said this is my first time even being this close to one of them it is a 49 c.c engine and it is like one of the newer models you know like the half motorcycle half scooter
please help

You’ll have to be more specific than that! Do you have a actual Vespa or Vespa-Type? What Model is it? Vespa has more than one 49cc model. What year is it?? Age is a factor! If its really old, than seals and gaskets may need to be replace. As in engine rebuild!! Lastly, does your mechanic know how to work on Vespa’s. Surprisingly, most motorcycle mechanics(ones I have come across) have not a clue on how to work on them!
Not much for a quick fix,With the exception of making sure that nut and bolts are tighten on the engine.

Under 50cc a drivers license will do over 50cc you need a motorcycle endorsement on your drivers license.

how do i drain the rear hub oil in a 250 vespa scooter?

There shoula be a drain plug at the bottom of the gear case.
