motor scooter/vespa rentals in Washington DC?
I’m looking for some type of motor scooter in washing dc. im vacationing from florida where they have these rental places eveywhere but i just cant seem to find any inDC. does anybody know where i could find one? thanks in advanced.

I live here, and I don’t know of any. The town has a very organized bicycle rental program and Segway tours, plus there’s always zipcar(but who wants a cage, right?)

What would be a fair settlement involving scooter?
A car hit me while I was driving a Vespa scooter in Charlotte, NC. I have doctor and hospitabl bills. My scooter was totaled. I have been out of work for two weeks. My leg and foot are still healing? The other car was at fault.

NC still has a contributory negligence tort law. If you are found to be even slightly negligent, you are barred from recovery. So be prepared to argue any denial.
If you have absolutely no negligence, the other driver’s insurance company should offer to pay the ACV for your scooter. They should pay for your medicals and lost wages assuming they are documented.
Anything beyond that amount, you need to discuss with the adjuster. You did not indicate what kind of injury you sustained, so nobody can advise you what a fair settlement would be. If you are still treating, then you should not be thinking settlement anyway. When will you return to work? How has this injury effected your daily routine? Will you have a permanent loss of function?
Once you have reached a medical end result, the adjuster will evaluate your claim based on the nature and extent of your injury, disability, treatment and permanency, if any.

I have a Vespa scooter and only pay $100 per year for liability coverage.
Call around and get some quotes. I used Geico because my truck is insured with them as well.
